The St Barnabas College (SBC) library catalogue is in the process of migrating to a new library catalogue.
From the 9th of September 2024, all borrowers will need to search Library Hub to find books held within the SBC Library.
You may not see your loans immediately, library staff aim to transfer all loans before the 9th of September. Once your loans have been transferred you will receive a new Due Date email.
How will I be affected?
All borrower accounts will be reviewed by library staff prior to the migration.
Only University of Divinity enrolled students, and borrowers with active loans will have an active Library Hub account.
All other borrowers, including staff, will need to contact SBC Library to confirm account status or register for borrowing.
Remember to:
- Remove the Liberty Link app from your mobile phones.
- From the 9th of September, you will need to sign in to your UD Library Hub to manage your loans.
- Remove the SBC Library Catalogue link from your Favourites list and replace with the UD Library Hub link https://library.divinity.edu.au/
- Contact Katrina in the library if you have any questions.
For Students
Your SBC library card is a local card which is only recognised for use within the St Barnabas College library and cannot be used at other UD partner libraries.
If you plan to borrow from other libraries, notify SBC College to request a University of Divinity ID card.
Email your request along with a passport style JPEG phot to registrar@sbc.edu.au.
For Staff
Due to IT changes being implemented at the University of Divinity, a card issued now will need to be replaced at a later date.
This is because staff will be allocated a new ID number once the planned IT changes are fully implemented.
It is recommended that staff wait until the changes are in effect before submitting a request to obtain a University of Divinity ID card.
Keep your SBC Library borrowing history
Your SBC Library borrower history will be lost with the new catalogue migration.
Keep a record of your history, by logging in to your SBC Library account. From the MY PORTAL tab, go to Loans then select the Loan History tab followed by the Export button.
