An important time in the Christian calendar, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, and is symbolised by the imposition of ashes as a reminder of our mortality and repentance. Today, an Ash Wednesday service was held at St Barnabas College and Rev’d Joan Riley presided.
