Professional Development

St Barnabas College offers a Professional Development program suitable for licensed clergy, lay ministers and parish leaders.

The program includes seminars, short courses, lectures and workshops on a range of topics. In accordance with the Royal Commission’s recommendations for mandated professional development, the College’s program includes courses on professional responsibilities and boundaries, ethics in ministry, child safety, and family and domestic violence.

The program also offers courses that build management, administrative and leadership skills in clergy and parish leaders. While the College’s Professional Development program is tailored to address ministry needs, the courses are open to anyone in the community.
