Damian enjoys teaching from the New Testament, especially Paul’s letters. He is interested in researching how Paul sought to form Christian identity amongst his first converts. He argues that Paul used several ways to describe how believers ought to perceive themselves and the world around them thought the lens of the crucified messiah. He also believes that the New Testament is best understood by reading it in its original language, Koine Greek, and enjoys teaching it to students and seeing how the New Testament comes alive to them in ways that influence their theology.
