Sarah is the Diocesan Archivist for the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide and has taught in schools and universities over the last 25 years. Her current particular interests are in the history of the Anglican Church in Australia, postcolonialism and the church, and the church as a component of the civil society.

Her teaching and research background is in gastronomy, language and literature studies as well as history, so she brings diverse insights and experience to her role with St Barnabas College and the University of Divinity.
